Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is an Mexican singer and musician born into a family of musicians. She was raised listening to traditional Boleros from the past and classic romantic songs and the Ranchero style. Ana is a lover of the operas and tangos and any dramatic performance. Her mother taught her to sing. However, she started more intense vocal training by Flavio Belcerra at 16 when the singer was famous as a Mexican opera tenor. She studied in Guadalajara at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara before moving on to Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. The singer performed in Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young student and professional. After moving from Mexico to the United States around 2000, she sang for the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. The singer currently sings traditional Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. as a music teacher and musician she has volunteered for numerous community projects because of her love and passion for music. Ana is a previous member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana is hoping that, with her performance her love of Latin American traditional songs, to bring about a desire, specifically for the young generation in keeping the music vibrant.
