Madhuri Dixit
Madhuri was an Indian actress, who gained notoriety for her roles in the films Hum Aapke Haiin Koun and Beta Saajan. Her career began as a performer in the 1980s. The actress became popular for the movie Tezaab with veteran actor Anil Kooor. The next film she appeared in was Dil which she starred alongside Aamir. In the beginning, as a teenager in the middle class of Mumbai, she started to dance. She started acting when an infant and was struggling for several years because most of her initial films were flops. However, she eventually achieved success and went on to become one of the top actors within the Indian film business. After her wedding, she took a career break before reentering the film industry. In the past, she was in a crucial part in the movie Gulaab Gang which was about the challenges faced by women in India. Dixit has been nominated 15 times to win Filmfare Awards. She won 8 of them. Padma Shri was awarded to Dixit, the fourth-highest civil honour in India. She has also been recognized for her work in the field of social work.
